Dr. Ruth TenBroek is a 1988 graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in Grand Rapids and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree from Calvin University. Recently she has enjoyed teaching Biology at Kellogg Community College and general science classes for the Gull Lake School system. She is now working at the animal hospital part time. She enjoys bicycling, hiking, and traveling. She is married to Dr. Mark Atma, and together since 1997, they have operated the Pennfield Animal Hospital. They have three children. Pets include: a border collie, a beagle, five cats, two horses, and several chickens.
